Life Purpose Readings
Return to Simplicity & Follow Your True Nature
Ancient Wisdom
I-Ching Life Planning is a science-based art that accurately decodes one's personal numerological matrix through a personal written reading. This ancient traditional knowledge comes from the oldest known written record — over 4,000 years ago.
I-Ching consultations give recommendations to individuals, families, and businesses, offering opportunities for change and synchronizing life patterns to manifest their fullest potential. This information can empower individuals in finding a balanced life relating to prosperity, health, career, and relationships.
By applying these strategies one can return to simplicity, embrace their life purpose and live one's true nature. The practice of this sacred knowledge is available through a limited number of consultants worldwide who are trained in the 26th generation lawmen "Dragon Gate Branch" I-Ching lineage by Wu Dong Chen — 龍門 Yuan Dynasty.
The I-Ching guides us in knowing the timing of when to do what, and how to follow the natural flow of life for your personal DNA.

Origins & Philosophy
c. 2800 BCE
Mythic Emperor & Sage
According to tradition, the legendary Emperor Fu Xi first observed the patterns of heaven and earth — the movements of stars, the flow of rivers, the behaviour of animals — and distilled them into eight trigrams (Bagua). These eight symbols became the primordial language through which the universe speaks to humanity.
c. 1000 BCE
Zhou Dynasty Scholars
King Wen, while imprisoned, meditated deeply on Fu Xi's trigrams and doubled them into 64 hexagrams — each a unique combination of six lines representing every possible state of change. His son, the Duke of Zhou, then wrote the line commentaries that gave each position within a hexagram its specific meaning, transforming the symbols into a living oracle.
c. 500 BCE
Philosopher & Commentator
Confucius studied the I Ching so intensely that he wore through the leather binding of his copy three times. He wrote the Ten Wings — a series of philosophical commentaries that elevated the I Ching from a divination manual into one of the foundational texts of Chinese civilisation, exploring its metaphysical depth and ethical dimensions.
Core Philosophy
The name Yi Jing (易經) translates literally as "Book of Changes." At its heart lies a single, profound truth: the universe is in a state of perpetual, rhythmic change. Nothing is fixed. Every situation — whether in nature, in society, or within the human heart — is a temporary configuration of energy moving toward its opposite.
The I Ching does not predict a fixed future. Instead, it reveals the quality and direction of the present moment — the energetic conditions you are moving through — so that you can align your actions with the natural flow rather than resist it. This is the essence of Wu Wei: effortless action in harmony with the Tao.
Each of the 64 hexagrams is composed of two trigrams — one representing the inner world (below) and one the outer world (above). Together they describe a dynamic relationship between the individual and their circumstances, offering guidance on how to move through any situation with wisdom, grace, and integrity.
The two primal forces of existence — receptive and creative, dark and light, yielding and firm. Every hexagram is built from these two energies in varying combinations. Neither is superior; both are necessary. The I Ching teaches us to recognise which force is dominant in any given moment and to respond accordingly.
The Way — the underlying principle that governs all of existence. The Tao cannot be named or fully grasped by the intellect; it can only be lived. The I Ching serves as a map back to the Tao, helping individuals recognise when they have strayed from their natural path and how to return to alignment.
Non-action, or effortless action. This does not mean passivity — it means acting in perfect accord with the natural flow of circumstances, without force or resistance. The I Ching cultivates the capacity to know when to move and when to be still, when to speak and when to remain silent.
Virtue or inner power — the natural expression of one's authentic nature when aligned with the Tao. The I Ching is ultimately a guide to cultivating De: the deep integrity that arises when a person lives in accordance with their true gifts, purpose, and the natural order of the universe.
"The I Ching insists upon self-knowledge throughout. The method by which this is to be achieved is open to every kind of misuse, and is therefore not for the frivolous-minded and immature."
— Carl Gustav Jung, Foreword to the I Ching, 1950
The Dao Follows Nature
Life is a river of flowing energy. Our job is to follow our personal path of least resistance to balance within the current.
The River Has 9 Energy Centres. The Yi-Jing is about gaining freedom and control by aligning self with the middle path so as to flow with ease.
